ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Saturday condemned the bomb blast targeting a mosque in Peshawar, resulting into the loss of precious human lives.
In a statement, the Prime Minister said that martyring innocent people at a sacred worship place like mosque reflects the brutality of the terrorists and their action is against the teachings of Islam.
The Prime Minister said that such acts of terror cannot weaken the nation's resolve to wipe out terrorism from the society and not to surrender to those who are challenging the writ of the state.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for martyred in the blast and grant of courage to their families to bear the loss.
He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured and directed the concerned authorities to provide best medical facilities to them.
