KARACHI: The Head of Jamia Binoria Al-Aalmia and religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Naeem passed away yesterday. Mufti Naeem's son, Mufti Noman, said the noted cleric had died of a heart attack.
A spokesman for Jamia Binoria also confirmed Mufti Naeem's death and said that he was suffering from heart and lung diseases.
He was rushed to a hospital at 8:00PM on Saturday, where he breathed his last.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail expressed his grief over the demise of Mufti Naeem and said that he served his entire life while spreading the teachings of Islam. He converted Jamia Binoria into an internationally-recognized educational institute, said the governor.
