Sindh's coronavirus tally reaches 53,000 with 15 more fatalities: Murad

  • CM says the number of critical patients has risen to 573 while 80 are on ventilators

(Karachi) Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that 15 more people have died due to the deadly coronavirus in 24 hours. The total number of fatalities in the province have reached 831.

Murad said on Sunday that 2,287 new cases have been reported in Sindh taking the tally to more than 53,000.

The CM maintained that 11,197 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, out of which 2,287 came back positive, taking the provincial total to 53,805.

He added the number of critical patients has risen to 573 while 80 are on ventilators. He mentioned that 1,219 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
