19,000 teachers to be recruited by Sindh Education Department

KARACHI: As many as 19,000 teachers would be recruited by the Sindh Education Department.

This was stated by the Provincial Minister, Pir Mazhar ul Haq, on Tuesday.

He said the test of these teachers would be conducted next month under the NTS.

Those emerging successful would get the appointment letter in January 2013, he added.

Pir Mazhar said that the present government was endeavouring to improve the academic standard of the government schools and that a huge amount has been allocated in the budget for the purpose.

He also highlighted the role of the private sector towards the betterment of the education sector.
