PESHAWAR: A militant was killed while trying to fit a bomb in a ghee tin in Badabar area here on Tuesday, police said.
The explosion occurred at Badabar graveyard where a militant was trying to fit an improvised explosive device (IED) in a ghee tin allegedly for subversive activities.
As result of blast, he was killed on the spot. Police rushed to the area and defused another bomb in the vicinity and started investigation.
The identity of victim could not be immediately ascertained.
