SRB extends dateline for e-filing returns

Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has extended the last date for e-filing of tax return for the period of November, 2019 till December 28, 2019.

According to a notification issued here on Tuesday, the provincial revenue authority has extended the last date for e-filing of tax return (form SST-03 or form SSTW-03, as the case may be) for the tax period of November, 2019 by December 28, 2019.

With a view to facilitating registered persons in adopting the newly-introduced STRIVe system, the SRB has permitted the registered persons, including the withholding agents covered by the provisions of the Sindh Sales Tax Special Procedure (withholding) Rules, 2014, to e-file their tax returns (in form SST-03 or form SSTW-03, as the case may be) for the tax period November, 2019, on or before December 28, 2019, in the prescribed manner. Meanwhile, the prescribed due date for e-deposit of the amounts of Sindh Sales Tax for the tax period November 2019 shall remain unchanged.
