Ukraine central bank: capital inflows into bonds behind hryvnia rally

KIEV: Capital inflows into domestic bonds have pushed the Ukrainian hryvnia currency to a 3-year-high against the dollar, Central Bank Governor Yakiv Smoliy told reporters on Wednesday.

Smoliy also said the central bank would carry out forex interventions if it sees rapid moves in the hryvnia exchange rate.
