Pesco drive against power theft continues

Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) surveillance teams has checked commercial and industrial meters in the jurisdiction of Peshawar, Khyber, Mardan circles during ongoing campaign against power pilferage in the province. According to details, Pesco Surveillance Wapda House teams under the supervision of Additional Chief Engineer checked different areas of Shahi Bagh sub-division of Peshawar Circle.
During the checking ATB found opened for power pilferage. The SDO concerned was directed to check ATBs of Commercial & Industrial consumers and protected them. Pesco Surveillance Wapda House teams checked meters in the areas of Nowshera Cantt sub-division and found meter of a morble factory 33 percent slow. Pesco Surveillance Wapda House Teams checked areas of Bakhshali sub-division and caught meter of Atif Morble factory 66 percent slow while meters of 2 crush machines were also found 33 percent slow.
Meanwhile, the Pesco has conducted open forum (Kuli Katcheries) in Peshawar, Khyber, Mardan, Swat, Swabi, Hazara-1Hazara-2 Circles to redressed consumers complaints. An open Katchery was held under the supervision of SE Swat Circle Israr Ahmad Khan. Xen, SDOs and a large number of people attended the open Katchery. The problems of consumers heard, discussed and solved on the spot.
Similarly, an Open Katchery of Khyber Circle was held under the supervision of SE Khyber Circle. Problems of Over loading, unscheduled load-shedding, kunda culture, low voltage, and other problems were discussed in detailed and redressed. Likewise, an Open Katchery of Hazara-1 Circle Abbottabad was held by SE Hazara Circle-1 Abbottabad Qazi Muhammad Tahir, Xens,SDOs and a large no of public attended the open katchery.People complaints were redressed on the spot.
Similarly an Open Katchery of Hazara-2 Mansehra Circle was held under SE Zubair Khan Xen,SDOs and general public attended the Open Katchery. Complaints regarding shifting of complaint office ,maintenance of Lines, ,and other problems were discussed in detailed and redressed. Similarly an Open Katchery of Mardan Circle was held by Mardan circle.
