Spin bowling consultant of the national cricket team, a specialised camp of promising spin bowlers, is underway at the National Cricket Academy. Mushtaq Ahmed is supervising the camp which will continue till April 14. Spin bowlers are receiving technical, tactical and physical training skills, with lectures from cricket icons during the activity.
The bowlers are Yasir Shah, Zafar Gohar, Arsal Sheikh, Muhammad Asghar, Karamat Ali, Immad Wasim, Muhammad Nawaz, Bilal Asif, Hayat Ullah, Shadab Khan, Salman Fayyaz and Ahmad Shafiq. "Their performance will be monitored during the upcoming Pentangular Domestic Tournament and on the basis of outcomes a comprehensive specialised programme will be arranged later," said a spokesman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
