Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) is the symbol of entrepreneurship, hard work, determination, dedication and patriotism.
HISTORY:
Established in 1985 by some enterprising exporters taking initiative to tap huge potential of textile export from this region. Few were the pioneers in number but they set to work with grit and determination. From year to year, the Association grew bigger and bigger. Initially commercial exporters joined to avail the services but gradually found the going good. With the establishment of Dry Port, textile exporters were facilitated at their door step. Consequently the number of exporters which was just 22 at the start rose to 250 within a decade. Inspired zeal and diligence of the members led to new heights and our members acquired big chunk of textile exports to Europe and USA.
Pakistan Textile Exporters Association is a body corporate licensed by the Government of Pakistan under the Trade Organisations Ordinance, 2007 and incorporated in 1985 under the company's ordinance, 1984 under the name of "All Pakistan Cloth Exporters Association".
