At least four persons, including a woman and a child, were killed and more than 20 others injured when a tractor trolley carrying internally displaced persons (IDPs) overturned here on Thursday. Police said the accident took place in Bakkakhel area at Miranshah Road in district Bannu where an overloaded tractor trolley carrying IDPs from troubled North Waziristan Agency (NWA) to Bannu turned turtle while negotiating sharp turn.
As a result of accident, four people including a woman and child were killed while about two dozen others sustained wounds. The wounded including 11 children and women were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Bannu for medico-legal formalities.
