The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) inked memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aik Hunar Aik Nagar (AHAN) on Thursday. The MoU was signed by Dr Shimail Daud Arain, President RCCI and Imran Ahmad CEO AHAN, whereas S M Muneer CEO TDAP, Mrs Shireen Arshad Chairperson AHAN, Mrs Zakia Shahnawaz Minister for Population & Welfare of Punjab, Ms Hameeda Wahiduddin Minister for Women Development Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Ahmed Warriach former senior vice president RCCI and executive member RCCI Mohammad Khurshid Barlas, Mohammad Badar Haroon, Jamil Ahmed, Ikramur Rehman Abbasi were also present on the occasion.
The accord between RCCI & AHAN aims at promoting Pakistan's handicrafts industry worldwide through the platform of RCCI Single Country Made in Pakistan exhibitions. It was agreed that both the organisations will initiate joint ventures for improving exports of this potent industry by utilising collective efforts.
On behalf of RCCI, Dr Shimail Daud Arain, President assured optimal support to AHAN as well as other export potential industries of Pakistan for their growth and promotion. He further emphasised on the need of exploring non-conventional markets and shared RCCI's vision of single country exhibitions around the globe. Mrs Shireen Arshad Chairperson AHAN appreciated RCCI's initiatives and said that both AHAN & RCCI sharing common goal of enhancing Pakistan's exports will mark new heights together.-PR
