The Vice Chancellor and the management of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro has shown a very serious concern over a letter received from the Principal of Khairpur Medical College which narrates that the request sent to Liaquat Medical University for affiliation stands suspended.
It is for the information of the concerned authorities and general public that the process of affiliation of College in Khairpur with LUMHS is already in process and a request for provision of required documents was sent to the concerned authority of Khairpur Medical College for the same.
Considering the demand of the people of interior Sindh for affiliating the Medical College in Khairpur with LUMHS, the management of this University has placed an appeal to the Chief Minister Sindh to look into the matter personally so that the Khairpur Medical College is affiliated with LUMHS so that 100 students in MBBS program shall be admitted in the current year, it is to add here that the said College was supposed to start the admission program last year.
