Philippines awards $470mn T-bonds at auction

MANILA: Following are the results of the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury’s (BTr) auction of re-issued 2028 and 2044 T-bonds on Tuesday:

  • BTR awards 26.85 billion pesos ($470 million) of bonds, versus 35 billion offered

  • Tenders total 63.67 billion pesos

  • BTr awards 10 billion pesos of 2028 T-bonds at avg rate of 5.605% versus previous auction avg of 5.634%

  • BTr awards 16.848 billion pesos of 2044 T-bonds at avg rate of 6.421% versus previous auction avg of 6.584%
