imageSchools are considered the nursery for fostering future generation, but what if such high esteemed institutes become the source of prejudices and racial discrimination.

This become evident after Beaconhouse School System’s Sahiwal campus, a prominent school in the region, issued a notification calling a ban on speaking Punjabi, terming it a foul language.

The notice goes on to explain the definition of foul language saying: “Foul language includes taunts, abuses, Punjabi and the hate speech.”

Parents were disgusted by the school’s action and demanded immediate withdrawal of the notification and asked the institution to tender an apology to those who have Punjabi as their mother language, local media reported.
