A meeting of Wafaq-ul-Madariss has been convened on September 11 to decide about the future course of action regarding Madariss registration, it is learnt. Sources told Business Recorder that the meeting would be attended by all representatives of its Shura, and this meeting would be followed by another meeting on September 12.
They said the meeting would finalise its reservations about the Ordinance which, they said, would be submitted to the government.
When this scribe contacted Secretary General Wafaqul Madariss, Muhammad Haneef Jalandhri, he said he was not aware of the Madressah Reforms Board dissolution.
However, he said they would welcome any such decision but refused to comment whether Inter-Wafaq Board was acceptable to the religious leaders.
