Over 69 percent wheat procurement target achieved in Punjab

Over 69 percent of the wheat procurement target of 3.5 million tons has been achieved so far in Punjab. The Punjab food department sources told APP here on Saturday that the department has so far purchased 2.431 million tons, achieving 69.46 percent of the given target.
The Multan region, comprising 13 districts of the former Multan division, 61.22 percent target with 0.587 million tons purchase has been achieved.
