LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed to ensure foolproof security of Juma-tul-Wida across the province.
In his directive to the provincial cabinet committee for peace, he said every possible step should be taken for security of public.
The chief minister directed security agencies to take all measures to protect life and property of civilians while security of mosques and Imam barghas should also be given high priority.
He asked policemen to perform their duties diligently and with devotion to further improve security situation in the province.
The chief minister directed senior police officers to remain in fields and to take review over security arrangements.
