SDPT handles consignments worth Rs 3479 million in March

The Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) handled 3913 consignments of sports, sports balls, gloves, leather goods, surgical instruments, badges and musical instruments etc weighing 6865 tons worth Rs 3479 million in export sector during March last.
The port sources told Business Recorder on Monday that this cargo was transported from this port to Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar airports, and Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and Port Qasim seaports.
As many as 73 consignments of sports, sport balls 808, gloves 176 leather goods 1011, surgical instruments 1012, musical instruments 35, marshal arts 140 and cutlery goods 47 were handled during March from the dry port.
