The Karachi City District Government is considering the issue of regularisation of Pathara hawkers in Saddar following an application by the Hawkers Pathara Welfare Association president Mohammed Ayub Qureshi and secretary-general Shaikh Hyder Ali.
The association has urged upon the city government to provide Pathara hawkers protection in Mansfield street, Mir Karam Ali Talpur Road, Raja Ghazanfar Ali Road and Abdullah Haroon Road.
The city government has informed that the town police officer of Saddar Town in a communication the other day said the issue regarding regularisation of the Pathara hawkers in Saddar was under consideration.
Ayub Qureshi has urged upon the city government to finalise their case at the earliest.
