imageKARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has approved Rs 25 million special grant for Pakistan Navy (PN) Education Trust to establish PN Model School at Khalid SRE in Younisabad, Karachi.

He approved this grant during his meeting with Commander Karachi Rear Admiral Mr. Farukh Ahmed here at the CM House Tuesday, said a statement.

Commander Karachi Rear Admiral Farukh Ahmed called on Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and discussed the establishment of PN Model School at Younisabad under Pakistan Navy Education Trust at a cost of Rs 70 million.

He said that Pakistan Navy has contributed considerable funds for the purpose.

The Commander Karachi said that the Pak Navy Education Trust presently runs five campuses where 16000 students were receiving education.

The CM Sindh said that his government was giving top priority to education sector.

"Since you are working for education which is a noble cause, therefore, I am contributing Rs 25 million for the establishment of PN Model School," he said.
