ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly 29th session will continue till February 26.
The House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly met Friday at Parliament House with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the Chair to discuss the business for the 29th Session of the National Assembly.
The meeting discussed the agenda and ways to run the proceedings of the 29th session of the National Assembly.
The Representatives from all the parliamentary parties gave their proposals regarding business in the House. It was decided that the current requisitioned NA Session would continue for the period of already scheduled session till February 26, 2016.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Zahid Hamid, Minister for Climate Change and Human Rights, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Defence Production and Science & Technology, Ch. Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs/Chief Whip of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), MNAs; Syed Naveed Qamar, Dr. Shireen Mehrunissa Mazari, Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Mr. Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, Sheikh Salahuddin, Ch. Muhammad Ashraf and Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani.
