LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Ulema Coucil (PUC) Central Chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi Friday said that it was responsibility of ulema and students to spread the real message of Islam in the world.
He said this while addressing a training session held under the aegis of PUC at Sahiwal, says a press release issued here.
"Islam teaches a message of love and peace," he added.
He said that no group, party or individual could be allowed to interpret Islam according to his wishes.
Speaking on the occasion, PUC Secretary General Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood Qasmi said that teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) were for the whole humanity and those who associate Islam with terrorism and extremism were enemies of Islam.
