LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said teachers have the biggest impact on the personality of a human being after parents.
In his message on International Teachers' Day, he said that teachers have a high status in the society as they play an important role in the guidance and character-building of students.
Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the purpose of celebrating 'Salam Teachers Day' was to highlight the importance of education and dignity of teachers.
He said that nations reach the height of progress only through respect to their teachers. He further said that on the Teachers' Day all citizens will have to pledge that respect of teachers will be ensured as they are benefactors of the society.
