ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (r) Sardar Raza asked the political parties to play their due role in implementation of Local Bodies (LB) elections code of conduct, Radio Pakistan reported.
A consultative meeting of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) with the political parties was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Sardar Raza in the chair.
The meeting discussed rules and regulations regarding the local bodies' elections in Punjab and Sindh.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Election Commissioner said the Commission will work in accordance with the expectations of people.
