imageKARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said while inaugurating livestock, dairy fisheries, poultry, and agriculture exhibition (LDFA-2015) at Expo Center here Saturday that Sindh government is fully committed to promote and support agriculture, livestock, dairy and other sectors and will provide incentives and facilities to investors.

The exhibition will showcase the investment opportunities in agriculture sectors of Sindh and bring the Government and the investors on one single platform for collaborative functioning.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the exhibition will help government to identify the sectors to increase productivity. It will help our industries in capitalizing the untapped potential of livestock, dairy, etc as millions of people and hundreds of industries including large, medium and cottage are dependent on these sectors.

He further added that Sindh government has been striving to support these sectors so that these can be modernized and could capitalize on the immense untapped potential available in Sindh. It will not only fulfill our local demand but would also help us earn foreign exchange by exporting various products to different countries.

Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Jam Khan Shoro said that LDFA-2015 has great impact on economy of Sindh and has set a path for the development and exploration of new markets. It is heartening to see that large number of foreign and local companies from agri sectors are participating actively in the exhibition and sharing their experiences in modernizing their products and services which will boost the productivity of live stock sectors. Government will ensure all out support including technical, financial assistance and guidelines to agriculture, livestock, dairy, fisheries and other sectors.

Meanwhile, Dr. Asif Brohi Chairman Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) said that Sindh Board of Investment has been committed to support economy of Sindh and ensuring all-out support to livestock, dairy fisheries, poultry, and agriculture. Pakistan livestock and dairy sector is the backbone of the country's agrarian economy. Government of Sindh is committed to promote dairy Sector not only for food security but also to improve value addition and value chain.

The exhibition will show Sindh as an economically viable province by identifying the areas and locations for investment in LDFA sectors. It will also facilitate the financial institutions and investors for the establishment and promotion of agriculture sectors.

Around 50 local and five international companies are taking part in showcasing their products and services as the exhibitors. Badar Solutions is the event manager of LDFA 2015.
