PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has condemned the incident of firing on a polio team by unknown terrorists in Mansehra district which took lives of a woman polio worker and a police constable.
In a statement issued here Tuesday the Chief Minister condoled the death of the lady worker and police constable and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with members of their bereaved families. Seeking a detail report of the incident he asked the district administration of Mansehra to enhance security of polio teams.
Expressing his deep grief and sorrow over the tragic demise of the lady polio worker and the police personnel, Pervez Khattak prayed to Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
