Singer Lady Gaga reportedly wants her wedding to be a ‘big family affair’.
The 28-year-old, who got engaged to actor Taylor Kinney on February 14 after four years of dating, wants to serve her guests food from her parents' Italian restaurant Joanne Trattoria based in New York. She’s just coming up with ideas now. She’s asked her sister Natali to be the maid of honor, and her dad can’t wait to walk her down the aisle, foreign media reported.
US Weekly magazine quoted the source as saying, “They want it to be a family celebration”.
Lady Gaga, who is said to be eager to marry at her $23 million mansion in Malibu, California, later this year, has also started making her guest-list and plans to invite her friend and singing legend Elton John, 67, to the event as well as Tony Bennett.
Gaga has performed with Tony Bennett at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards last month. Gaga has won six Grammys and sold 27 million albums and 130 million singles so far.
