imageFormer Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi is furious over the fitness issues of Indian national squad for World Cup 2015. Bishan Singh Bedi was an Indian test cricketer who finished his career with the total of 1560 wickets in first-class cricket.

He thinks that India is working very late on his weaknesses. Team should have brought this injury issue in mind earlier. They will be defending their title in this World Cup and they have still not identified their core team to perform in the mega event of cricket.

Bedi while showing so much concern for the team said, “I feel pretty strongly that why this team is being tested so late. You are testing the fitness of players a day before the warm-ups begin and you are leaving things too late,” foreign media reported.

He seemed unhappy with all the conditions that India is going through the replacement of players and fitness tests. He added, “Even if changes have to happen on medical grounds then it is too late. There is hardly any time left for players to be sent back and replacements to be flown in.”

He advised team to boost-up their morals and this is the only way they can perform well in the tournament.

Bedi asked the team not to forget that India is defending the title. So every team wants to beat India, even Afghanistan, because India is the holder of the trophy. So the responsibility is on India, they cannot turn around and say that they have nothing to lose.
