KARACHI: President Mamnoon Hussain while calling for greater and concerted efforts to raise the standards of learning, especially in the field of higher education, has said that education holds the key to tap huge human resource potential of the nation.
Talking to Qazi Khalid Ali, Vice Chancellor of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed Law University, here on Monday, the President said that the government accords highest priority towards education sector and was making efforts to facilitate talented students get education.
He said that fee-reimbursement scheme,lap-top scheme and other initiatives of the government would go a long way towards promoting education in the country especially in those areas where resource-constraints were the major hurdle in way of intelligent students having access to proper education facilities.
The President, on the occasion, also underscored the need for the academic institutes to continue making efforts for imparting quality education to the students so that they are able to compete in a highly competitive world of today.
Vice Chancellor of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed Law University Qazi Khalid Ali during meeting briefed the President about the University and the progress made so far in turning this institution into a renowned law institute of the country.
The President appreciated the progress and assured the VC of all possible support to the University.
