ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Assembly Senator Pervaiz Rashid Monday strongly condemned attack on PTV building and termed it an act of aggression and violence.
In a statement he said that Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri cannot absolve themselves from this act of lawlessness as their workers did what both of them were instigating from the past 17 days in their speeches.
The attack on our national television network is not only deplorable but also entirely barbaric, the minister said. Bringing such a threat and destruction to state asset is completely unjustifiable, Pervaiz Rashid stressed.
They have agitated their workers and provoked them to violence, he said adding that they are both responsible for this act and will have to face the law.
They claim bravery but acting cowardly for not taking responsibility of this act of violence and terror, the minister concluded.
