JAMRUD: At least two people were killed on Thursday when unidentified militants attacked a Nato supply convoy on the Pak-Afghan Highway in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber tribal region.
According to Khassadar Force, militants attacked two oil tankers near Sur Kamar area destroying them completely after which an exchange of fire took place however the militants fled the scene.
Meanwhile, one person was killed and four others injured when militants attacked a house with a hand grenade in the Chadrar area of Tank district. The injured included women and children.
Also, the security forces foiled a terrorism bid by defusing a five kilogram homemade bomb in a Basic Health Unit in the Pan Pao area of Shabqadar tehsil of Charsadda.
