PESHAWAR: Provincial leadership of PTI have condemned the suicide attack on a check post of the armed forces in North Waziristan agency and stated that the sympathies of the entire nation was with the armed forces of Pakistan.
In a statement issued here on Monday, President Azam Swati, Secretary General Khalid Masood, Parliamentarian and Secretary Information Ayesha Gulalai expressed deep grief and sorrow over this incident and prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the incident.
In another incident PTI MPA and General Secretary Charsadda condemned the actions of DSP Charsadda in which he indiscriminately baton charged PTI workers who visited the DSP office to complaint against police officials who were involved in the beating of a rickshaw driver which resulted in breaking of his hands.
He said instead of solving problems the police was misusing state authority by charging down on innocent workers who could not even register their complaint against the brutality of police officers.
He demanded strict action be taken against those responsible and an example be set in order to avoid such incidents in the future.
