Pak forex figure $ 13.43904bn, SBP forex increase by $ 33mn

KARACHI: Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at dollars 13.43904 billion, said State Bank of Pakistan.

According to SBP's weekly statement here on Thursday, the foreign reserves held by State Bank on May 30 amounted $ 8.68207 billion and the foreign reserves held by other banks

figured $ 4.75607 billion. During the week, SBP's liquid foreign reserves increased by

$ 33 million at $ 8.683 billion compared to $ 8.650 billion in the previous week.

During the week ending on May 30, Central Bank received inflows of $ 39 million from multilateral, bilateral and other official sources. On account of external debt servicing and other official payments, SBP has made payments of $ 231 million from its reserves.
