PESHAWAR: Most senior judge of Peshawar High Court, Justice Fasihul Mulk here Friday took oath as new Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court here at Governor House on Friday.
The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr Shaukatullah Khan administered oath to the newly appointed Chief Justice.
The impressive oath taking ceremony was attended besides others by Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak, Information Minister Shah Farman, IGP Nasir Durrani, provincial ministers, lawyers, judges of subordinate and Peshawar High Court, Govt officials and judicial officers in sufficient number.
Justice Fasihul Mulk has been appointed as Chief Justice PHC after elevation of the former Chief Justice Dost Muhammad as judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
