PESHAWAR: Fifteen terrorists were killed and four soldiers martyred when the security forces launched another operation to flush out the militants from their bastion in troubled areas of FR Kohat and Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency, late Friday night.
Security sources told APP that the operation named Khyber-2 was launched on July 19/20 in Zao Kharmatang area, which is located between FR Kohat and Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency to clear the terrorists and criminals hideouts.
The operation is successfully continuing as clearance of Surgarh and Shergarh heights is in progress, the security forces said.
During exchange of firing, 15 terrorists were killed while four soldiers embraced Shahadat (martyrdom). As many as two hideouts of terrorists had also been destroyed so far in the operation.
