PESHAWAR: Aaron Mark De Haven, an American national has been arrested from Peshawar’s University Town on Friday under the Foreigners’ Act, was sent to jail on a 14 day remand on Saturday, AAJ TV reported.

Sources reported that he hails from Virginia and has been associated with a private firm, Catalyst Services, which rents buildings for American citizens in the area.

His visa had expired on the 22nd of October 2010. He was rejected an extension.

Aaron, who married a local girl, claims to have converted into a Muslim and is referred to as Haroon. He was living in Falcon Colony near Tehkal.
