LONDON: Europe's main stock markets closed little changed to firmer on Tuesday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares virtually flat at 5,974.76 points.
In Paris, the CAC 40 gained 0.64 percent to 4,015.91 points but in Frankfurt the DAX edged up a marginal 0.04 percent to 7,161.93 points.
