imageBilly Crystal will pay tribute to the late Robin Williams at the upcoming Emmy Awards.
The 66-yearold comedian will lead tributes to his longtime friend, who was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California on August 11th, 2014.

After committing suicide, he will be honored during a special segment at the 66th annual ceremony in Los Angeles on August 25 2014, media reported.

Billy Crystal and Robin Williams, who first met as standup comedians in the 1970s, were co-hosts in the U.S. version of Comic Relief, along with Whoopi Goldberg.

As well as being close friends with Robin for almost 30 years, Billy co-starred in the movie 'Father's Day' with him in 1997.They also regularly presented televised ‘ Comic Relief’ specials, alongside Whoopi Goldberg, in the US to raise money for the homeless, media reported.

Meanwhile, the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' star Robin William battled depression for much of his life and had also recently been diagnosed with early-stage Parkinson's disease.
