(Karachi) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Maryam Aurangzeb has said that Nawaz Sharif will leave abroad for medical treatment on Tuesday (November 19), local media reported.

She said an air ambulance has been booked by Hussain Nawaz that will arrive in Lahore on Tuesday. Aurangzeb maintained that Nawaz Sharif is being injected high dose of steroids so he could travel.

She pointed out that the doctors are currently treating the former premier for multiple conditions, including blood pressure, diabetes and the most critical of all Immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) while his health condition is being monitored continuously.

Maryam said Nawaz’s medical condition is so critical that doctors are trying their best to do everything they can to prevent an emergency complication during the flight.

The PML-N leader said that Nawaz’s personal doctor has examined him today and he is making efforts to stabilize his condition.

On Saturday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) permitted to remove former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif‘s name from exit control list (ECL) for the duration of four months without any conditions.

A two-judge bench, comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem, were hearing the petition challenging the government's condition of furnishing indemnity bonds in order to secure the removal of Nawaz's name from the ECL.

The court earlier said that it would create its own draft of Shehbaz's undertaking guaranteeing the return of his brother to Pakistan, after the siblings and the government's counsels failed to reach an agreement on the phrasing of the affidavit and its terms.

Shehbaz had submitted a draft, saying that he would “facilitate" Nawaz's return to Pakistan following his treatment abroad.
