Khairul Nazran Rahman, Council General of Malaysia visited Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 15th October, 2019 and had meeting with Engr Daroo Khan Achakzai, President, FPCCI, M Bashir Janmohammed, Chairman, Pak-Malaysia Business Council, Directors and Members of the Business Council and leading businessmen.

Bashir Janmohammed, Chairman, informed that he has written a letter of thanks to Dr Tun Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia, on behalf of business community of Pakistan, for his outstanding support for Pakistan cause in UN General Assembly and in the meeting with our Prime Minister, Imran Khan and other dignitaries.

He said that Indian Government has reacted and asked their Palm Oil importers to restrict buying from Malaysia. Bashir Janmohammed said that the right stand was only taken by two Muslim countries i.e. Malaysia & Turkey. We are indebted and as a nation grateful to Malaysian Prime Minister for supporting Pakistan and have to reciprocate it, for which, Bashir Janmohammed requested Pakistan Government to give most favourable tariff for import of Palm Oil from Malaysia, as a gesture of co-operation and goodwill shown by Malaysian Government.-PR
