How ironic it is that the Indian government is unwilling to lift curbs and restrictions on the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir even after two months. India's home minister Amit Shah has claimed that the number of detained persons has come down from 4,000 to 1,000 and 800 of them are "stone-pelters". But he doesn't want to give a timeframe for release of "1,000" Kashmiris. Easing telecommunication restrictions in certain parts of the occupied valley is an act that is clearly false. New Delhi is now telling the besieged Kashmiris that their ordeal is not over yet, and then to add insult to injury, the Modi government is saying that it would take four more months for occupied Jammu and Kashmir to "return to normal" after his government stripped the state of its special status in August and imposed profoundly harsh restrictions on it. Little does the Sangh Parivar government know that the Kashmiris will never forget this humiliation. They will exact revenge. India too will suffer embarrassment and humiliation in a big way.
