MOSCOW: Russia's finance ministry has proposed lowering the first-half dividend paid by oil pipeline monopoly Transneft to 3.3 billion roubles ($52 million), Interfax agency said on Monday citing a source familiar with the ministry's plans.
The agency the dividend payout by the state-controlled company, mired in a tainted oil crisis, had been initially seen at around 34.5 billion roubles. The dividend payout for 2018 stood at 77.6 billion roubles.
