KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 20,452.90 points with a positive change of 60.73 and volume of 85,862,000 shares. High and Low were 20,546.79 and 20,314.75 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 13 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 153,268,570 shares. Total companies traded were 335 of which 134 were positive, 175 were negative and 26 were unchanged.

Vanaspati and Allied Industries was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 46,668,500 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 34,777,000 shares.

The top three decliners were Unilever Pakistan Food Limited with a volume of 400 and price per share of 6,650 (-350.00), Archroma Pakistan Limited with a volume of 27,150 and price per share of 528.21 (-27.80), Shifa International Hospitals Limited with a volume of 11,800 and price per share of 237.50 (-11.97).
