WASHINGTON: Lindsey Graham, the chairman of the US Senate judiciary panel, on Wednesday requested a briefing from the FBI on the arrest of Roger Stone, a longtime associate of President Donald Trump.

He requested the briefing take place before Feb. 5, saying he was concerned about the number of agents involved, tactics employed and the timing of the arrest.

Stone was arrested on Friday in connection to US Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia's meddling with the 2016 US election. Moscow has denied the interference.
