Spanish national consumer prices rose 1.7 percent year-on-year in November according to data from the National Statistics Institute on Friday, compared to 2.3 percent in October and a Reuters poll forecast of 1.7 percent.
Spanish European Union-harmonised prices rose 1.7 percent from a year earlier, down from 2.3 percent in October and in line with the Reuters forecast.
Core inflation, which strips out volatile food and energy prices, was 0.9 percent year on year, compared to a reading of 1.0 percent a month earlier.
