BEIJING: Shanghai raised gas prices for non-residential users such as power plants and chemical producers from Dec. 1 to March 31, the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission said on Monday.

Benchmark gas prices for gas-fired power plants were raised by 0.1 yuan per cubic metre to 2.47 yuan ($0.36) per cubic metre, the government agency said.

Prices for other non-residential users were raised by 0.2 yuan to 3.2 yuan per cubic metre, the agency said.
