ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has generated additional revenue of Rs 1 billion in first 50 days of the present government due to concentrated efforts by Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday by Ministry of Railways, during the period from August 2017 to October 2017 Pakistan Railways earned Rs 5.7 billion.

In contrast, from August 2018 to October 2018, Pakistan Railways had earned 6.7 billion.

It is the proof that Minister for Railways was taking the department on right track.

During the period under review, the capability of Pakistan Railways to earn revenue had increased and the Minister for Railways was working hard to increase Pakistan Railways’ revenue, the statement added.
