Got to know sister Janhvi in a better way on ‘Koffee with Karan’: Arjun Kapoor

After Sridevi’s sudden demise, actor Arjun Kapoor has come closer to his half-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, but the actor believes that he got to know Janhvi even more in just two hours when they appeared together on ‘Koffee with Karan season 6’.

The brother-sister duo will be seen together in season six of Karan Johar’s popular ‘Koffee with Karan’. Arjun has time and again proved his love for his sisters Janhvi, Khushi and Anshula Kapoor. As a big brother, he has been their pillar of strength and has been supporting them in every step of the way.

Arjun has been one of the favourite guests on ‘Koffee with Karan’. From laugh riot episodes with Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan to making surprise appearances, he has been a fan favourite.

This time, the actor will make his appearance with sister Janhvi Kapoor. He is thankful to Karan that he got to know Janhvi in a better way on the show. Talking about the show, Arjun told Mid-Day, “When Karan Johar told me that this was the combination, I was pleasantly surprised, because I am the buffoon and prankster on Koffee with Karan. I thought that I'll get to spend some time with Janhvi. Honestly, I haven't been able to spend time with her. In February (when Sridevi passed away) I was shooting for Namaste England.”

“I think this was meant to be that we would discover each other. What Karan does is, he allows you to be in a comfortable environment and that kind of let's go your inhibitions that maybe I and she would have taken a couple of more dinners and lunches and maybe a holiday or two. Now, suddenly after spending two hours, I feel like I've known her all my life. I can only be thankful to Karan for choosing this combination,” he added.

Yesterday on a special day for the Hindi film industry. One of the most iconic movies of the 90s, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai turned 20. While attending the event, Janhvi revealed that she hadn’t watched the movie till she shot for Koffee with Karan’s episode. She also said that after shooting the episode she ended up watching the movie and could finally see how each and every love story that released after this iconic film was influenced by it.
