KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 21,552.80 points with a negative change of -375.19 and volume of 105,842,200 shares. High and Low were 21,954.24 and 21,463.69 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 3 were up, 26 were down and 1 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 145,200,280 shares. Total companies traded were 358 of which 68 were positive, 265 were negative and 25 were unchanged.
Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 46,799,610 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 16,693,150 shares.
